REALITY SHOWS

Greetings to all who are reading this right now. Today the topic we are going to share is one of the peak entertainments of people of the teenage community and above. REALITY SHOWS. Yes, they have, over the past few decades, been a major source of income and relaxation and enjoyment. But simultaneously there has been many controversies regarding various issues in various shows which have definitely not ended in a positive way. So today we are going to discuss the boons and banes of such shows on our lives and surroundings………

Reality television shows have always been a family’s favourite for their diversity in Content and the excitement they bring. Also criticism of these reality shows are rising as they are blamed fro bringing many negative impacts on teenagers. Some shows give positive values to children and teens. For instance, adventure shows that involve Teamwork is the perfect example of how trust on team members brings success and happiness, while family-related shows bring out the significance of love, loyalty and piety towards parents.

Many reality shows also provide a stage for people to come out and show their hidden talents to the rest of the world. This gives people the chance to be passionate and follow their dreams and also enables the viewers to realize their potential.

Another argument in favour of the advantage's reality shows brings is that the Shows offer exposure to every kind of situation to its audience

Reality shows exhibits various kind of attitudes of the characters. And the way people solve their problems. This helps the audience to solve their own problems especially social and day to day problems they face.

While reality shows can be addictive for some people it provides a welcome relief in our stressful daily lives and they can serve as a mood lifter and a source of happiness

For the youth all over the world, reality shows hold a special place in their hearts. From Master Chef to FRIENDS,

from The Bull to the Supernatural and Impractical Jokers, time and again we have found ourselves relating to these smash hits be it howsoever different we are. They have an integral part of our teenage and the zenith of these reality shows keep going higher and higher with the indomitable hunger of the youth fueling their imagination and getting captivated over there shows.

But like, the flip side of a coin, they too have a negative impact, although mostly, unintentional, some shows invigorate a feeling of power and energy in us making us rebellious. Reality shows are sometimes dishonest... As it pretends to show “reality” but it actually distorts the truth to suit the program workers.  The shows are not always “real”- they are carefully cast to get a mix of “characters” who are not all typical. Reality Shows that involve competition often show the intensive rivalry between Contestants and highlight the conflicts among them, such as gossip, fights containing foul language, or isolation of contestants. These cruel and harsh acts would set awful Examples for youngsters, and may even affect their ways of solving social problems. Sometimes this increases the tendency of bullying These shows also may send a bad message and help to create a cult of instant celebrity. Often, people try to relate to these shows on such an integral level they slowly drift away from the reality, entwining themselves in the fake reality of these shows. They drift apart from their daily lives, affecting their daily chores, studies and find themselves completely mesmerized over these shows. Some people who have lived their lives as introverts often relate to these shows on a whole different level, making them believe in the aura these shows hold in their hearts and they completely shut off and interactions they have with the real world. While very few shows condone violence, some have found themselves more than eager to follow the words of these shows, unfortunately, quite literally. Like everything that’s good, there’s evil bound to follow. But it is up to us how we view these realities and cope with them and know where to draw the border at while relating with these on a personal level.

And thus, the most important thing that we have to learn is to draw the ending line in between the shows of entertainment and casualty and our routinely lives bounded by responsibilities and stern duties. The choice is ours. Let’s not allow entertainment be the ruin of our own deeds. That’s all we have to say for today. Thanks, and stay updated for our next article.
